Welcome to Edinburgh! We’re thrilled to have you join us for our wedding at Borthwick Castle, located just 30 minutes outside the city.
To make things easy, we’ve arranged a coach to take guests to and from the venue. It will depart from Princes Street in Edinburgh at 11:00 AM on the day of the wedding (28th June) and return at midnight.
For those staying in Edinburgh, the city offers a variety of accommodation options, from boutique hotels to cozy guesthouses. We recommend booking early, as Edinburgh is always a popular destination!
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in this beautiful part of the world.
Travel & Stay
Our Favorite Corners
Of The City
Artwork - Lady Agnew of Lochnaw by John Singer Sargent. Room 26 of the National Gallery of Scotland.
Pub - Cafe Royal
Local Celeb - Sir Walter Scott. He's in that big, pointy, gothic spire in the center of town and Waverly Station is named after one of his novels. Widely regarded as having devised the cultural identity of modern Scotland.
Exhibit - 3,000y/o Pictish carvings in the National Museum of Scotland. Found in the 'early people' section in the basement. A bit like ancient Egypt but with more pigs and deer innit?
Church - Rosslyn Chapel. One of the most intricately detailed churches in Scotland; surrounded by many legends and symbols of the knights Templar
Sandwich - Roasted Red Onion xx at Söderberg in Stockbridge
Chapel - Thistle Chapel, St Giles Cathedral. Seats the sixteen Knights of the Order of the Thistle, Scotlands highest order of chivalry. We can poke our heads in here before the Sunday hike.
